Overview

Are you an experienced Planning Lawyer looking for a flexible and dynamic role within a top-tier law firm? We are a leading Top 50 law firm with one of the largest and most respected Real Estate teams in the country. Our Planning team provides comprehensive advice on all aspects of planning and highways law, including negotiating planning or highways works agreements, guidance on natural capital, and addressing legal challenges that could impede development. We also have a strong track record in defending against enforcement actions. This position would be working across the Thames Valley, London and Cheltenham region, and could be based in any of these offices.

Responsibilities
  • Have in-depth experience on a range of issues across the breadth of planning law.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within planning, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.
  • Contribute to business development opportunities and identify networking opportunities internally and externally, marketing and cross selling.
  • Supporting and training junior members of the team.
About You
  • A qualified Planning Lawyer with significant experience.
  • Strong skills in advising on both contentious and/or non-contentious planning matters.
  • Excellent negotiation and client management abilities.
  • Ability to provide strategic advice and work collaboratively within a team.
