Legal Counsel - Charitable Foundation London
Our client is a unique, values-led organisation and we are looking to hire an experienced lawyer to join the team (title depending on experience). This is a rare opportunity to join a growing non-profit foundation with a fantastic culture of authenticity, that is making a global impact.
The role is broad and meaningful, covering:
- Charity law and governance
- Commercial contracts
- IP, data protection and more
You'll report to and work closely with a busy and inspiring Chief Legal Officer, helping to shape the legal function as the organisation expands.
Responsibilities- Provide advice on charity law and governance matters
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts
- Address IP, data protection and related legal issues
- Support the development of the legal function as the organisation grows
We are looking for a commercially minded, collaborative and curious individual with a passion for purpose-led work. The successful candidate will have strong charity law and commercial contracts experience gained at a law firm or in-house.
Experience with international organisations, publishing and media and/or philanthropic foundations is a plus.
