Conveyancing Legal Secretary 
East London, Full Time, Salary Dependent on Experience
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join a busy and well-established residential property team based in East London.
This role is ideal for a highly organised individual who thrives in a fast paced legal environment and enjoys providing high quality support to fee earners while delivering excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities- Audio typing and preparation of legal correspondence, emails and documents
- Drafting and amending conveyancing documents from dictation
- Managing file opening and closing procedures
- Handling incoming calls, client enquiries and message management professionally
- Monitoring post and emails, responding where appropriate
- General administrative support including photocopying, scanning, printing and arranging couriers
- Assisting with billing processes and liaising with accounts departments
- Requesting cheques, arranging bank transfers and processing client monies
- Preparing legal documents including:
- Lease extensions
- Deeds
- Completion statements
- Land Registry forms
- Using the Land Registry Portal efficiently and accurately
- Providing reception cover when required
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within Conveyancing/Residential Property
- Strong audio typing and document production skills
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Confident handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work proactively within a busy team
- Experience using the Land Registry Portal preferred
