These are exciting times at ARAG, as we are experiencing positive business change and growth across our Legal Advice teams. We now have Legal Advice Paralegal opportunities available in our Bristol City Centre office.
As a Legal Advice Paralegal, you will provide a professional legal advice service to both our commercial and personal customers. Your responsibilities include handling customer queries across various legal areas, establishing the facts, providing legal advice, and outlining practical options, including funding and resolution solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing customer experience efficiently and professionally, ensuring engagement, managing expectations, and exceeding service levels.
- Informing customers about funding opportunities or benefits through their Legal Expenses Insurance or private funding.
- Communicating clearly, concisely, and honestly, while being sensitive and empathetic to customer and partner needs.
- Understanding and complying with SRA regulations and statutory obligations.
- Staying updated on relevant regulatory changes and legal updates.
This role offers exposure to various legal areas such as Employment, Property, and Consumer Law, with full training provided. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated Law Graduate (Legal Executive, LPC/BVC/LLB) with a passion for excellent customer service and a strong telephone manner. Post-graduate legal qualifications and relevant experience are preferred. You should demonstrate exceptional communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to advise clearly and empathetically.
Key requirements include:
- Law Graduate (Legal Executive, LPC/BVC/LLB)
- Post-graduate legal qualification(s) and/or relevant legal experience
- Knowledge of areas such as Employment, Property, and Consumer Law
- Excellent communication skills, honesty, empathy, and sensitivity
- Teamwork and a customer-focused approach
- Negotiation, analytical, and proactive problem-solving skills
- Resilience and motivation to handle sensitive and challenging issues
