This apprenticeship offers the chance to gain hands on experience within a legal environment while working towards a recognised qualification. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the legal team, develop valuable workplace skills, and gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a busy legal office.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to legal professionals and support staff.
- Prepare and distribute documents and correspondence.
- Manage client files and maintain accurate records.
- Handle incoming telephone calls, emails and post in a professional manner.
- Book appointments and assist with diary management.
- Organise and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
- Assist with the preparation of case files and legal documentation.
- Update internal databases.
- Ensure confidentiality and data protection procedures are followed at all times.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to clients and colleagues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A professional and positive attitude.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
