Job Description
Overview

Anderson Knight is proud to be partnering with a respected legal services firm to recruit a Legal Administrator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. This is a non-legal, administrative support role within a busy legal services team. You will work closely with clients, colleagues, and external partners to ensure all documentation, data, and communications are processed efficiently and accurately.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Location: Glasgow City Centre (Office-based)

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in progressing remortgage files using a case management system.
  • Open and set up new client files on the case management system.
  • Liaise with clients and third parties to request initial documentation and identity verification.
  • Upload, verify, and distribute legal documents, ensuring accuracy at all times.
  • Accurately input and maintain data across case records and client documents.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and action or allocate emails accordingly.
  • Ensure all client data and documentation is managed in line with regulatory and firm compliance policies.
  • Support the wider team with general administrative tasks, including chasing documents and making routine phone calls.
Requirements

Essential:

  • Previous office-based administrative experience (legal, property, or financial services background preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and document management systems.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable:

  • Experience using legal case management software.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment or handling sensitive client data.
