Job Description
VANRATH are delighted to be working with a respected public body seeking an experienced Legal Administrator to join their operational team.
What's in it for you?- £13.75 per hour
- Initial minimum 3-month temporary assignment
- 37-hour working week (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm)
You'll be joining an independent organisation working to promote equality and protect rights across Northern Ireland.
About you- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience inputting and extracting information from computer databases
- Experience maintaining accurate filing and record systems
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Previous experience within a legal, public sector or professional services environment would be advantageous
- Provide administrative support to the Legal Directorate and operational teams
- Provide a professional information service to colleagues and customers
- Deal with routine enquiries by telephone, email and face to face
- Prepare, format and distribute reports, letters, correspondence and other documentation
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence and administrative records
- Input, update and maintain information on organisational databases
- Extract information and reports from databases when required
- Proofread typed reports and documentation, identifying and correcting errors
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of publications and information
- Maintain appropriate administrative records and activity information
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Legal Directorate
