You will work to ensure students are provided with the best opportunity to attain learning outcomes. There will also be opportunity to keep up to on your discipline by undertaking professional development activities to further your knowledge and skills to help create the nurses of tomorrow.We have several casual roles available for Learning Facilitator/Lecturer teaching Bachelor of Nursing students. Courses are taught over the course of 3 trimesters per year, each trimester consisting of 12 week blocks. Casual lecturers should have flexibility to pick up shifts during these trimesters.We have three casual Learning Facilitator/Lecturer roles available. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who can work a minimum of 2-3 days per week, specifically Monday, Tuesday, and/or Wednesday (8.00am - 3.30pm - 11.00am - 6.00pm)Reporting to the Coordinator Nursing you will be responsible for: Delivery and teaching of the Nursing Program content utilising flexible learning modes to accommodate student needs ensuring compliance with all regulatory frameworks Mentor students to understand and utilise the Codes and Standards of Professional Practice relating to Nursing Utilise learning technology effectively and embed in design and delivery Engage in student centred learning and teaching practices and maintaining an active and positive education experience Engage in a model best practice in applying pedagogical principles, instructional strategies, and communication strategies appropriate to the learners. Provide on-going assessment support for students to satisfactorily complete assessment tasks Who are you To be successful in the Bachelor of Nursing - Lecturer position you MUST have (TEQSA requirement): Experience in education/training and assessment Understanding of pedagogical and/or adult learning principles relevant to the student cohort being taught.
