Term: Fixed term, up to 0.29 FTE

Salary Range: Lecturer (G7) £42,701 - £48,035 pro rata per annum

Line Management: None (reports to designated faculty line manager)

Start date: 1 August 2026 or by arrangement

Role Overview

The Lecturer will teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and provide service to the discipline, contributing to the evolving needs of the Faculty and University. Core duties include development and provision of innovative and inclusive teaching in Project Management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and professional service activities commensurate with career stage.

Preferred availability on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and assess courses in Project Management at Levels 4 7.
• Integrate innovative teaching, learning and assessment methods.
• Support a diverse student body and promote inclusive learning.
• Participate in professional service to the department and university.

Qualifications & Skills

• Postgraduate degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant area.
• FHEA status, or equivalent, achieved or expected (desirable).
• Demonstrated ability to be adaptable, innovative and inclusive in teaching.
• Willingness and capacity for continuous professional development in AI, technology, data, sustainability and ethics.
• Teaching competency in Project Management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills and experience integrating technology into learning.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
• Basic or enhanced DBS check will be required.
