Job Description
Overview

Lecturer in Physics for Engineering (G7) at Northeastern University London, London. Full time fixed term until 31 July 2027. Reports to the Head of Physics and Engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Teach selected first year undergraduate courses in Physics for Engineering.
  • Prepare course materials, examinations and assess student performance.
  • Develop innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
  • Support a diverse student body and promote inclusive learning.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Master's degree in Physics or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • PhD completed or near completion, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Teaching at Level 6 (up to final year undergraduate).
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt, innovate and promote inclusive instruction.
  • Strong communication, organisational and IT skills.
  • AdvanceHE Fellowship status or similar teaching qualification desirable.
