About The Role and Person
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College, and we are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Animal Management to provide high-quality teaching and learning on our Animal Management courses.
Our School of Animal Management offers a wide range of courses, including:
- Level 1 Introduction to Animal Care
- Level 2 Animal Care Technical Diploma
- Level 3 Animal Management Advanced Diploma
We also offer Access to Higher Education Diplomas in Veterinary Science and Animal Science and Welfare, a Keeper and Aquarist apprenticeship, and Higher Education courses in Animal Management and Zoology and Animal Management and Biodiversity. Our facilities include a varied animal collection with exotics, farm, and companion animals across all campuses, housing reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and birds.
The post holder will deliver high-quality teaching on the College's Animal Management courses, ensuring effective student learning. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering engaging lessons, setting challenging goals, monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback, and demonstrating positive attitudes and behaviors expected of students.
Applicants should possess a Degree, HND, or relevant qualification in an animal-related discipline, science, or related field.
