Lecturer - Sociology (Internal Only)

As a Lecturer in Sociology at Lincoln College, you will deliver exceptional teaching to post 16 students, inspiring critical analysis and fostering their academic independence. You will prepare learners for exam board specifications, helping them achieve high attainment, while enhancing their skills in literary analysis, linguistic theory, and advanced writing.

This role is open to internal candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging sociology lessons for post 16 students in line with the college curriculum and exam board specifications.
• Assess and provide feedback to foster critical thinking and academic independence.
• Develop and update lesson plans, resources and assessment materials.
• Encourage student participation and practical application of sociological concepts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary learning and curriculum innovation.
