Leaving Care Housing & Aftercare Advisor

Essex County Council is recruiting a Homelessness Personal Advisor to work with looked-after children and care leavers to prevent homelessness and secure suitable housing. The role is fixed-term or secondment up to 12 months, and the position is countywide with a community-based working style.

You will collaborate with social workers, provide practical and emotional support, help develop personal action plans, and work across agencies to remove barriers to accommodation.
