Duties as Learning Support Assistant:- Provide one to one and small group support to pupils with varying learning needs.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
- Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm and supportive classroom environment.
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
- Help prepare resources and assist with classroom routines.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to pupil wellbeing.
- Experience supporting pupils in an educational setting is desirable.
- Understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practice.
- Patient, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships with pupils.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Reliable, positive, and enthusiastic about supporting learning.
