£90-£115 per day (+SEN allowance) Part-time, Long-term (3 days a week)
Role OverviewYou will provide targeted support to pupils across KS1 and KS2, working closely with teachers, SENCOs and specialist staff. The role involves delivering 1:1 support, small group interventions, and supporting children with a range of needs including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- SEMH
- Mental health needs
- Emotional regulation
- School avoidance
- Speech and language needs
- Behavioural challenges
- Provide high-quality SEND support in a primary school setting
- Support pupils to access the curriculum and engage in learning
- Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Support pupils with communication and speech & language needs
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals
- Promote a calm, inclusive, and nurturing environment
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant SEN qualification (preferred)
- Experience working in SEND or SEN settings, SRPs, or mainstream primary schools
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Patient, resilient, and child-centred approach
- Ability to support pupils with complex needs, including behavioural and SEMH needs
- £90-£115 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Long-term, stable placements
- Supportive consultants and ongoing professional guidance
