Location: Penwith or Truro campus, or both.
Salary: £24,454 per annum (£21,765 per annum)
Working pattern: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
Do you have excellent administrative skills, a passion for supporting young people, and a talent for organisation?Truro and Penwith College is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Administrator to join our Learning Support and Inclusive Practice Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in supporting learners, including those with SEND and EHCPs, while working within a friendly and professional team environment.
What You'll Do- Be the first point of contact for students, staff, parents/carers, external agencies, and members of the public.
- Manage incoming enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Process and maintain confidential student records, including medical and learning support information.
- Support EHCP administration and review processes.
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, correspondence, and team resources.
- Maintain accurate records and utilise college systems for data management.
- Assist with ordering, invoices, and general office administration.
- Experience in an administrative support role
- Strong IT skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and record-keeping systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A high level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach and genuine enthusiasm for supporting learnersThe ability to work sensitively with students with additional needs and disabilities
