Job Description

We are delighted to be supporting a UK-based charity in their search for a Learning & Development Officer to join their People and Organisational Development team.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), temporary role based at their Central Office with flexibility for remote working. The role is running for up to 3-months, with the potential to become permanent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about creating a positive learning culture and delivering high-quality development experiences for staff.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all learning and development enquiries.
  • Managing internal and external development events from start to finish, including liaising with providers, promoting events, and evaluating feedback.
  • Overseeing the learner journey from booking through to course completion.
  • Managing the Learning Management System (Litmos) and maintaining accurate training records on the HR Information System.
  • Producing reports and carrying out data analysis on learning activities.
  • Promoting learning opportunities through internal communication channels.
  • Supporting organisational development projects and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • Experience working in Learning & Development with knowledge of training event processes.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organisation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HR systems and Learning Management Systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills.
  • A passion for learning and development and commitment to self-improvement.

Desirable:

  • Working towards or holding a CIPD qualification.
