Role Purpose

The Learning and Development Business Partner will enhance employee performance and organizational growth by crafting and implementing effective learning solutions for our Supply Chain. Responsibilities include managing learning programs, vendor relationships, and aligning training initiatives with business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support UK & I supply chain sites by building credible relationships with leadership and teams.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and site leaders to develop and implement development initiatives.
  • Champion our L&D and talent operating model to optimize efficiency.
  • Support regional development initiatives and conduct needs analysis to develop tailored learning interventions.
  • Engage with HRBPs and leadership to address performance gaps.
  • Manage external vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee budgets.
  • Coordinate logistics for face-to-face training and facilitate learning programs.
  • Maintain LMS events, attendance, and system integrity.
  • Utilize L&D data to support people planning, demonstrate impact, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Deliverables
  • Build trust with HRBPs, senior partners, and teams through authentic relationships.
  • Demonstrate influencing and communication skills to establish credibility.
  • Manage multiple demands with strong organization and decision-making skills.
  • Maintain attention to detail while keeping an eye on strategic objectives.
  • Take personal accountability for performance and execution.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience in a Business Partnering role within manufacturing or similar environments.
  • Proven success in supporting or leading development programs.
  • Previous team management experience.
  • Expertise in designing and facilitating development initiatives.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and LMS systems.
Desirable Skills
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to manage both long- and short-term projects.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and influencing skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
