Who we are?

Integrated Maintenance, Repair & Development Services (IMRDS) Alliance - Part of the Anglian Water network, focuses on infrastructure maintenance work and is responsible for: water network pressure management, finding and fixing leaks, replacing lead pipes and repairing burst mains.

What will you be doing as a Leakage Delivery Support Manager?

This role is a front line operational management role within the leakage leadership team. Leading a local operational team and responsible for the local area leakage targeting, detection and progressing repairs and all associated cost management.

Knowledge of Water Network & Leakage operations is essential with strong leadership skills, excellent communication and people management skills and the ability to influence peer groups and key stakeholders both internal and external.

Directly responsible for employee wellbeing, health and safety with an ability to convert company strategy into tactical delivery outcomes in accordance with established health, safety, environmental and water network safeguarding procedures. (POSWSH).

Supporting the Leakage Delivery Manager your role will require strong performance management skills, essential to ensure in area performance against company ODI and regulatory leakage targets are achieved, and to ensure individual leakage resource performance is managed in accordance with established targets minimum expectations.

What skills, experience and behaviours are required
  • Extensive experience and expertise as a practitioner of Leakage and water loss / network management.

  • Appropriate professional qualification or membership of professional body.

  • Preferably a business or leadership qualification.

  • Significant proven experience in an operational/management role.

  • Experienced at managing and driving operational performance.

  • Ability to assess risks / make significant operational decisions with incomplete information / dynamic situations.

  • Excellent leadership skills.

  • Excellent communications skills.

  • Excellent collaborative skills with a proven track record of delivery in a collaborative environment.

  • Ability to influence a range of stakeholders including external.

  • A drive to find new solutions and try new innovation.
