This is a lead role requiring strong technical expertise, architectural vision, and team mentoring experience. This role is 4 a days a week in Central Leeds.

Description

In this role you will lead the migration of Legacy Front End to modern, user friendly React Architecture - this will be a project taking 2-3 years and will involve:

• Lead the design and development of scalable React-based web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement project requirements.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Review and maintain high-quality code standards, implementing best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior developers within the team, fostering their growth.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends to ensure the team remains at the forefront of innovation.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Profile

Must haves:

• React/TypeScript
• Mentoring experience
• Involved in running/leading projects
• Moving Legacy to modern
