Lead Principal Scientist, Trustworthy AI & LLMs

National Physical Laboratory is seeking a Principal Scientist to lead its trustworthy AI program, with a focus on LLMs and AI agents. You will guide a team of data and AI scientists, shape strategic priorities, and engage with government, industry and academia to drive impact across measurement science.

You will develop deep expertise in risk, quality assessment and deployment of AI methods, while mentoring early career staff and collaborating across NPL and external partners.
