We are looking for an experienced individual to join our talented team at NHS Fife.

Lead Pharmacist - Public Health and Community Pharmacy Services

This senior role is responsible for the leadership and development of pharmaceutical public health and Community Pharmacy services in NHS Fife. You will guide a highly engaged team to transform the way we deliver pharmacy services in line with our core values of dignity and respect, care and compassion, openness, honesty and responsibility, and quality and teamwork.

Reporting to NHS Fife's Head of Pharmacy - Population Health and Wellbeing, you will develop strong collaborative working relationships across the organisation to support transformation of services and help deliver future whole system health and care services to support people across Fife.

You will provide dynamic strategic direction and operational leadership, plan, manage and provide pharmacy services, and undertake a clinical session each week in an area agreed mutually through discussion.

As from 1/April/2026, the Agenda for Change full time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rated. There will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected. Salary is pro rated for part time hours.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
