Band 6 Lead Nurse (RMN) to join North Dales Older Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). The role involves clinical responsibility for caseload, duty management, and multidisciplinary team participation. The post is permanent, 37.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the jobThe role includes supporting and managing a complex caseload, initial assessments, risk assessment, developing collaborative care plans, duty worker responsibilities, administering depot injections, attending CST meetings, and working closely with partners in health and social care. The Lead Nurse also supports and develops student nurses and supervises junior team members. Clinical and managerial supervision is provided with professional development opportunities.

- Experience of working with older people who have severe and enduring needs.
- Experience of supervising staff and students.
- Detailed knowledge of legislation relevant to mental health and specialist practice where appropriate.
- Working knowledge of the principles of CPA (Care Programme Approach) where appropriate.
- Extensive knowledge of the principles of safety planning.

- Registered RMN.
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
- Mentorship or equivalent.
