As a Lead Fullstack Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of this mission, helping us to build a scalable geo-location platform which helps keep people safe wherever they are in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the planning and delivery of roadmap features across the engineering stack

Providing technical leadership and mentorship across the development team

Ensuring secure coding, compliance, and architectural best practices are upheld

Partnering with Product and QA to scope, define, and deliver on engineering objectives

Contributing to and review the development of services, ensuring scalability and reliability

Measuring and report engineering KPIs, identifying areas for continuous improvement

Participating in technical support and be part of the on-call rotation

Requirements

Strong expertise in Node.js, React/React Native, and PHP across backend, frontend, and mobile development

Proven ability to design and scale service-oriented, event-driven systems

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)

Hands-on knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)

Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication

Strong analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Experience in high-availability systems, cybersecurity frameworks (ISO, SOC), or Elixir development

Background in fast-paced, start-up or scale-up environments

Interest in stepping into or growing towards an Engineering Manager role

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, values clean and secure code, and enjoys collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

We are looking for someone who wants to join a highly collaborative team and someone who is happy to visit our London office (Farringdon), once per week.
