A Lead Finance Analyst Inventory, IMFT supports the IMFT Senior Finance Manager (Inventory & Direct Procurement) and partners closely with inventory process owners, Supply Chain Finance teams, IM Principal Operations, business partners, and technology owners to capture requirements, translate them into process and system design, and drive disciplined testing and deployment readiness.
Key Responsibilities- Process Mapping & Requirements Capture (Inventory): Partner with inventory close and reporting process owners to document current-state processes, pain points and controls; capture business and data requirements and translate them into clear user stories / design inputs to support the TIME target operating model within IMFT.
- Future-State Design Support & Decision Material: Support design workshops for inventory processes (including valuation- and reserve-related touchpoints) by preparing analyses, documenting options/trade-offs, and creating decision-ready materials; ensure alignment across Supply Chain Finance, IM Principal Operations and Technology on agreed process outcomes.
- Controls & Compliance by Design: Work with control owners to define and document inventory control requirements for TIME (process controls, evidence, roles & responsibilities); support control walkthroughs, risk/issue logging, and remediation planning to ensure the future process is audit-ready.
- Data, Reporting & Reconciliation Requirements: Define inventory data and reporting needs for the TIME solution (e.g., key reports, dimensions, interfaces, reconciliation points) and support data quality discussions; help establish clear ownership, handoffs and monitoring expectations between Finance, Supply Chain and Technology.
- Testing (UAT) & Defect Management: Coordinate UAT activities for inventory process, triage defects with Technology and process owners, and track resolution to ensure a stable, business-ready TIME release.
- University/bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Experience in finance roles, especially within supply chain or principal operations
- Experience with gross-to-net inventory would be considered a great asset for this role
- Prior experience and familiarity with finance transformation initiatives are advantageous
- Languages: Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a benefit
- Structured analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business questions into clear requirements, insights and actions
- Curious and eager to learn new end-to end inventory processes, systems and data structures
- Comfortable working in ambiguity; adaptable to evolving priorities and iterative design/testing cycles
- Strong stakeholder partnering and influencing skills; able to drive alignment and follow-through without formal authority
- Continuous improvement mindset with interest in standardising, simplifying and automating finance processes
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to produce high-quality documentation and concise status updates
- Strong execution discipline to manage deliverables across requirements, design support, testing
- Proactive and reliable, with strong attention to detail; able to independently drive workstreams and manage dependencies in a matrixed environment.
