Job Description
Overview

Lead Electrical Engineer to be based in Dublin for a Tier 1 M&E Contractor. In this role you will be responsible for the technical delivery, coordination and oversight of Medium Voltage electrical systems across Data Centre and Pharmaceutical projects.

Responsibilities
  • As Lead Electrical Engineer, you will lead MV engineering activities across assigned projects.
  • Coordinate MV design with construction and installation teams.
  • Review and validate MV system designs and equipment specifications.
  • Perform power system studies and validate modelling outputs.
  • Manage technical submittals and client approvals.
  • Support procurement and delivery of MV equipment.
  • Oversee MV testing, commissioning, and system handover.
  • Provide technical support to resolve MV system issues.
Requirements
  • This Lead Electrical Engineer will need a degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong experience with Medium Voltage electrical systems.
  • Experience supporting MV design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Familiarity with power system modelling tools.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and electrical standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
