Salary - M1-UPS 3 (£32,916-£51,048)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and experienced Early Years teacher to join our team and lead the development of Learning Beyond the Classroom across our school.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner who believes that children learn best through play, exploration and meaningful experiences. The successful candidate will teach within Early Years while also leading our whole-school approach to outdoor learning, play and enrichment.

The successful candidate will help shape and develop a whole-school approach to Learning Beyond the Classroom, drawing on the principles of:

• Early Years play-based learning
• Outdoor learning and experiential education
• OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) approaches
• Forest School philosophy

They will support staff in creating high-quality learning experiences that nurture independence, resilience, creativity and collaboration, while contributing strongly to the school's personal development and enrichment offer.

  • Is an excellent Early Years teacher with strong knowledge of play-based learning and child development;
  • Has the vision and drive to develop outdoor learning across the school;
  • Is passionate about providing children with memorable experiences that enrich learning and broaden horizons;
  • Can inspire and support colleagues to develop engaging and creative approaches to learning;
  • Is committed to ensuring that every child benefits from a rich and inclusive curriculum.
