Lead Design Engineer / Design Manager
£45,000 - £55,000 + Fantastic Technical Training + 30 Days Holiday + Attractive Company Bonus
Office based role, commutable from Weston-Super-Mare, Bristol, Bridgewater, Wells, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, and the surrounding areas.
The role is office based with occasional site visits. You will lead the development and enhancement of new and existing products, deliver innovative technical solutions, produce and maintain technical documentation, provide expert technical support and training to customers and service engineers, and supervise the work of a CAD-focused Design Engineer.
The company is a leading design and manufacturing business producing high-quality fume and safety cupboards and cabinets for the industrial and educational sectors. They pride themselves on low staff turnover and a strong focus on employee development.
The Role- Lead product development, innovation, and warranty solutions for new and existing products.
- Provide technical expertise, training, and support to customers, service engineers, and staff.
- Supervise and manage the CAD-focused Design Engineer.
- CAD / Mechanical Design Experience
- Looking to step into management
- Full UK Driver's Licence
