Are you passionate about athletics and helping athletes reach their potential? We're looking for a Lead Athletics Coach to lead and shape the coaching programme for Nottingham Trent University Athletics Club.

In this role, you'll plan and deliver engaging training sessions for a diverse group of student-athletes, ranging from recreational participants to performance-level competitors. You'll work closely with club committee members, assistant coaches and NTU Sport staff to create a positive, inclusive and ambitious environment where students can thrive both on and off the track.

You'll lead the development of training programmes, support athlete progression and help students balance their sporting commitments alongside university life. You'll also play an important role in supporting assistant coaches and volunteers to deliver an outstanding student experience.

We're looking for someone with strong coaching experience, excellent communication skills and a passion for developing people. You'll be confident planning and leading sessions, providing constructive feedback and adapting your coaching approach to meet the needs of a wide range of athletes.

Training takes place atHarvey Hadden Sports Villageon Tuesday and Thursday evenings during term time. The successful candidate will therefore need to be able to travel to and from the venue on a regular basis. Access to a car may be beneficial but is not essential.

We have a fantastic range of sports facilities at our City campuses, including industry-standard gym equipment, a 10m climbing wall, a sports hall, dance studios and a sports therapy suite offering physiotherapy and sports massage.

Our Clifton campus is home to the Lee Westwood Sports Centre, a fully floodlit all-weather astro-turf pitch, three brand new squash courts, an exercise studio, sports hall, grass pitches and a newly refurbished fitness suite.

Our Equestrian Centre at Brackenhurst features both indoor and outdoor arenas and holds a variety of events throughout the year, including unaffiliated and affiliated dressage competitions, and unaffiliated show jumping.
