We are looking for a Lead Assortment Planner to join our client's EMEA planning organisation. This role sits at the heart of seasonal planning, product strategy, forecasting, and inventory optimisation across multiple categories and markets.

As Lead Assortment Planner, you will partner closely with Merchandising, Finance, Sports & Business Planning, and S&IM to shape fact-based assortment and inventory decisions that fuel growth across the EMEA marketplace.

What You'll Do

• Lead and influence the seasonal assortment plan across Franchise/Merch Class x Sports x Marketplace.
• Drive retail sales, receipts, inventory planning and align seasonal strategy with broader financial targets.
• Own product-driven OTB forecasting to inform manufacturing decisions and in-season optimisation.
• Analyse weekly/monthly performance vs. plan, identify risks and opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor top franchises and enable cross-marketplace decision-making to maximise product health and consumer demand.
• Manage and communicate end-to-end inventory health across categories and NMP units.
• Partner with Merchandising to align sell-in with MPU strategy and marketplace role.
• Lead independent projects, prioritise workloads, and package insights into compelling, data-driven storytelling for stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

• Solid experience in assortment planning, retail planning, financial/product/inventory planning.
• Strong data mindset, with the ability to interpret forecasting models, consumer demand signals, and product potential.
• Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence across a complex Matrix.
• Confident communicator with strong analytical storytelling.
• Proven ability to handle multiple workstreams and operate independently.
• Problem-solving attitude and a continuous-improvement, growth mindset.
