LDI Analyst

Our client is a leading name within the investment management industry. Due to continued company expansion, they are now looking to recruit an LDI Analyst to join their high performing team on a permanent basis.

The LDI Analyst will take responsibility for the following duties:

1. Assist in the production of LDI end client reporting at month and quarter ends
2. Understand the structure and complexity of LDI Products / clients
3. Responsible for the maintenance, integrity and oversight of LDI data
4. Analyse and implement changes to LDI products
5. Analysing business requirements for new derivatives
6. Assist in development of any additional tools required to support the core systems
7. Ensure daily interaction with front office fund management teams
8. Presentation to Senior Management and / or relevant committees
9. LDI performance and risk analytics, including hedge effectiveness versus client benchmarks
10. On boarding of new funds, instruments and products
11. Understand and adhere to Derivative related regulatory / market requirements
12. Provide on-going support for Fund Management

The LDI Analyst will meet the following criteria:

1. Minimum 1 year experience within the investment management industry
2. Basic knowledge across asset classes
3. VBA / programming skills (such as Python or Java)
4. Knowledge of performance reporting or client reporting
5. Educated to degree level or equivalent
6. Studying towards industry relevant qualification, such as CFA
7. Excellent problem solving / naturally investigative
8. Keen business interest and desire to apply technical skills to real world business problems
