Law Teacher

  • Annual Salary: £18,071 - £27,925 (Actual Salary)

We are excited to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Law Teacher to join our outstanding sixth form college in Winchester. This part-time, permanent role is ideal for someone passionate about Law, eager to inspire and educate our students in either the A Level or BTEC Law courses.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Law to students across two year groups, totalling approximately 500 students.
  • Prepare lesson plans and materials based on the curriculum requirements for A Level or BTEC Law.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
  • Provide guidance and support to students to enhance their learning experience and academic performance.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to the development and improvement of the Law curriculum.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with educational trends and best practices in teaching Law.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Law or a closely related subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Experience in teaching Law at the sixth form level is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development.
