Land Surveyor

A Growing Civil Engineering Contractor is hiring Land Surveyors to join their team. Your focus will be to help delivery high-quality projects across Dublin. With a strong reputation for reliability, technical expertise, and project delivery, the company works across a wide range of civil infrastructure and construction projects.

Role

• Establish and maintain high-accuracy survey control networks across project sites.
• Carry out precise levelling loops and control surveys.
• Perform setting out using GNSS and Total Station equipment.
• Support and manage machine control systems on site.
• Conduct track trolley surveys using Trimble GEDO systems.
• Undertake deformation monitoring surveys using laser scanning technology.
• Produce accurate 3D models and survey deliverables.
• Process, analyse, and manage survey data.
• Maintain survey records and ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Support BIM workflows through effective survey data integration and management.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure survey requirements are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all survey work is completed in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Requirements

• Level 7 Degree (or higher) in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
• Experience using GNSS, Total Stations, and survey software.
• Experience with Trimble GEDO systems desirable.
• Knowledge of deformation monitoring and laser scanning techniques.
• Experience in 3D modelling and survey data processing.
• Previous rail project experience highly desirable.
• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) card preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate survey information.
• Full clean driving licence preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Salary

• Salary circa €45k - €55k DOE
• Vehicle/Fuel allowance
• Pension
