7am-4pm Monday-Friday ; Weekend working based on demand and done on a rota

Laboratory Technicians

• Carrying out testing and analysis on incoming grain samples.
• Preparing and handling grain samples in accordance with site procedures.
• Recording and reporting laboratory results accurately.
• Assisting with intake administration and weighbridge operations during busy periods.
• Monitoring grain quality against intake specifications.
• Supporting food safety, traceability, and quality standards throughout harvest operations.

Key requirements

• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when recording results.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak intake periods.
• Competent computer skills for data entry, recording results, and operating laboratory systems.
• Commitment to maintaining high health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
