Backed by the Marmon Aerospace & Defence Group, we combine manufacturing capability, UKAS accredited calibration services and technical expertise to deliver industry-leading solutions.THE OPPORTUNITYAs a Laboratory Technician, you will join our UKAS accredited laboratory and play a key role in supporting the calibration of temperature sensors, instruments and systems used across aerospace, heat treatment and industrial markets. You will work closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Laboratory to maintain the highest standards of quality, technical accuracy and compliance.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPerform calibration of temperature sensors, instruments and systemsSupport the maintenance of UKAS accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025 complianceOperate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with approved proceduresProduce accurate calibration certificates and reportsMaintain calibration and test recordsSupport product qualification testing and auditing activitiesFollow laboratory procedures, specifications and applicable standardsSupport continuous improvement activities within the laboratoryABOUT YOUEssential:Minimum 2 years' experience in temperature measurement, calibration or a related technical fieldExperience conducting testing and calibration activitiesKnowledge of thermometry principles and temperature measurement systemsUnderstanding of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 requirementsAbility to produce clear and accurate technical documentationSkills & Attributes:Strong attention to detailGood written and verbal communication skillsOrganised and methodical approachAnalytical problem-solving abilityAbility to prioritise workload and work under pressurePositive team player with a willingness to learn and developWHY JOIN CCPI?Join a UKAS accredited laboratory with an excellent industry reputationWork with customers across aerospace, heat treatment and advanced manufacturing sectorsBe part of a technically focused and growing businessOngoing training and development opportunitiesSupportive team environmentOpportunity to develop specialist expertise within temperature measurement and calibrationFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
