Laboratory Technician (2-2/5 Days per-week)

We offercommercial analytical lab chemistry testing for food and drink, including: nutritionaland health, microscopy, biochemistry, allergens, chromatography, packaging, cereals and ingredients, andwines and spirits

What you'll be doing

• Routine analysis of foodstuffs andassociated materials using a variety of methods
• Updating QC records, basicmaintenance and checks of laboratory equipment
• Preparation and administration ofsamples
• General Admin in the Section asrequired
• General laboratory housekeepingduties
• Training and supervising staff asrequired

• Ability to undertake routine analytical testing with minimumsupervision
• Good organisational skills in managing own workload
• Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work on a number of tasks and manage priorities
