Job Description
The Laboratory Administrator is responsible for supporting the efficient and compliant operation of the laboratory by managing administrative processes , documentation , and communication . This role ensures that all records , supplies , and regulatory requirements are maintained to the highest standards , enabling laboratory staff to focus on delivering excellent patient care and laboratory outcomes .
Reports to: Laboratory Manager/Director
Key Responsibilities- C ompl y with company policies.
- Collaborate with laboratory team to delivery excellent patient care.
- Ensure safe practices, reporting incidents appropriately and swiftly.
- Help to identify areas of improvement withi n laborator y administration .
- P repar e and organis e daily laboratory paperwork, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- H andl e communications with patients that do not involve clinical advice, such as scheduling, information requests, and general queries.
- M onitor and support in the manag ement of laboratory supplies and inventory to ensure resources are available as needed.
- S upport with the organisation of the maintenance laboratory equipment, ensuring everything is properly documented.
- Support with movement of samples between centres.

- At more advanced levels, the Laboratory Administrator may also be involved in:
- S upport or conduct audits to ensure compliance with laboratory standards and regulatory requirements.
- W itness procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy in critical laboratory processes.
- Assist with the documentation required for Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) cycles .
- University degree , or equivalent
- Fluency in verbal and written local language
- Fluency in verbal and written English is desirable
