THE ROLE

We are looking for a strong Learning and Development Partner to join our People Team. This role will be based in our London office twice a week. At New Look our success is driven by our people. As a Learning and Development Partner you will be instrumental in shaping the professional growth of our people. You will design and deliver strategic initiatives that foster learning and talent development.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Champion a learning culture, promoting self-directed and on-demand learning.
  • Design and deliver impactful learning experiences to help identified teams grow, collaborate, and thrive - equipping our colleagues to perform today while preparing for tomorrow.
  • Explore and surface learning needs by partnering business stakeholders and working seamlessly with the wider People Team as part of a 'one team' approach to design and deliver responses to these. Specifically, exploring the role of learning in contributing to engagement and retention in business critical areas.
  • Support managers to lead and build resilient teams ready for future challenges - combining facilitated sessions with self-directed resources.
  • Ensure New Look is delivering a digital learning offering that is coherent, up to date and compliant.
  • Create and deliver learning and content aligned to and in service of our overall people strategy and priorities, contracting with the People SLT and other major stakeholders to create an overall learning and delivery plan.
  • Provide support to Head of People on projects, including Apprenticeships and the use of Learning Technology across New Look.
  • Use feedback, data, and experimentation to evaluate impact and continuously improve learning. Monitor allocated budgets and spend.
  • Respond to other ad hoc learning requests, assess needs, and advise on the best approach.
  • Partner with external providers to ensure that our offering is utilising the best of our overall ecosystem and partnerships.
  • Add value and deliver tangible results at pace and with impact, working as an individual contributor in a matrix team. Prioritise projects and manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously.
  • Reports to the Head of People and work alongside a Learning Specialist and as part of a wider team of people experts.
  • Role is London based, with travel to Weymouth/ other locations as required to support face to face delivery and learning.
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Proven experience in L&D roles, experience within fashion industry would be a bonus
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a large, commercially focused organisation
  • Experience of working at all levels within a business to C-Suite
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to analyse data and generate actionable insights
  • Highly effective in achieving results both with people and through people, communicating clearly
