Responsibilities - Digital Learning & Design Excellence

Design, develop, and deliver engaging blended learning content (digital, face-to-face, and on-the-job), ensuring alignment with organisational and commercial goals.

Apply instructional design methodology and learning principles to create impactful learning experiences focused on behavioural change and outcomes.

Partner with the L&D team and wider business to identify learning needs and propose creative, practical digital solutions.

Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring learner journeys are accessible, motivating, and measurable through assessment and evaluation.

Translate complex product and service features into clear, customer-friendly learning content, integrating sales psychology where appropriate.

Manage multiple design projects, consistently meeting deadlines, agreed targets, and quality standards.

Practical Application

Collaborate with subject matter experts, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and empathetic to diverse roles

Use scenario-based and time-sensitive learning design to fit into busy schedules while maximising impact.

Incorporate innovative formats such as gamification, microlearning, video, and VR demos to drive engagement and skill retention.

Monitor learning effectiveness using feedback, analytics, and data insights - recommending improvements where needed.

Keep up to date with learning technology trends and design best practice, bringing fresh ideas and design thinking into the L&D function.

Support continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing across the team.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven instructional design expertise with experience in creating digital learning resources (eLearning, video, interactive media, etc.) using tools such as Articulate and Rise.

Ability to design and manage LMS/LXP learning pathways and track progress against KPIs (e.g. NPS, conversion rates, or operational performance).

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex or technical topics through storytelling aligned with our brand voice and values.

Experience in linking learning design to customer service outcomes and operational realities, particularly in retail and delivery contexts.

Commercially aware - able to align learning solutions with business priorities and measure their impact.

Skilled in facilitation, workshops, and consultative engagement with stakeholders.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
