Team Leader - Health Visiting & School Nursing Service. Location: Inverurie Health & Care Hub, Garioch. Hours: 37 hours per week (reducing to 36 in 2026). Salary: Band 7 - £50,861 to £59,159 per annum. Contract: Permanent. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Health Visitor or School Nurse to lead our Garioch Health Visiting & School Nursing team. Based at Inverurie Health & Care Hub, this role offers the opportunity to shape and support high-quality, family-centred care across the locality.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong clinical leadership and operational oversight.
- Support staff development and service improvement.
- Implement the Health Visiting Action Plan and the 10 Priority Pathways for School Nursing.
- Promote integrated, trauma-informed, and child-centred care.
- In-depth understanding of GIRFEC, UNCRC, Child Protection legislation, and the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014.
- Proven leadership in community nursing or public health.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Registered Nurse with Health Visiting/Public Health qualification.
- Postgraduate study or working towards a Master's degree.
- Experience in team management and supervision.
- Car driver/owner or access to transport.
