About the Role
We're looking for a motivated, energetic, and compassionate English Teacher who dares to think differently. At Bramfield House, you'll teach small classes, build strong and meaningful relationships, and support pupils in ways that extend far beyond exam results.
You'll bring English to life - sparking curiosity, encouraging self-expression, and helping pupils find their voice, sometimes for the very first time. Whether it's mastering a paragraph, analysing a poem, or gaining the confidence to speak up, your influence will be powerful and lasting.
Working closely with senior leaders and specialist staff, you'll play a key role in helping every learner move forward - academically, emotionally, and socially.

- Tracking progress and adapting teaching to maximise engagement and outcomes
- Designing and contributing to individual learning and behaviour plans
- Leading English across key stages, with scope for additional leadership responsibilities
- Playing an active role in whole-school improvement and development
- Creating a positive, respectful classroom culture rooted in our school values
- Ensuring learning is safe, inspiring, and full of opportunity - both on and off site
What We're Looking For
- A passionate English specialist who believes every pupil can succeed
- A creative and reflective practitioner with a nurturing, pupil-centred approach
- A confident team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Someone ready to lead, innovate, and make a genuine difference
