KS2 Teacher

We are currently recruiting for a part time Teacher of English with some Art to start January 2026 to February half term 2026. The role is Yr 5 & Yr 6 English, a shared Yr 7 English class and a Yr 5 Art class.
The skills we are looking for include:
- Qualified Teacher Status either PGCE/GTP or Cert Ed
- Teaching experience within the past 2 years (this can include training experience)
- Assessing pupils, marking work and giving verbal feedback as appropriate.
- High expectations and positive classroom management.
- Positive approach to promoting learning
- Enthusiasm and confident in their profession
- Organised, hard working, adaptable and flexible
- Innovative and imaginative teaching methods

Job Type: Part Time/Temporary, 0.8 over 5 days, however this could be extended to 5 full days for the right person.
