About the Role
As a KS2 Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their full potential. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment while delivering the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum and supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Assess, monitor, and report on pupils' progress and attainment
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
Prepare pupils for statutory assessments, including SATs where appropriate
Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives
Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all pupils
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Passion for delivering engaging and inspiring learning experiences
Commitment to high standards of teaching and pupil achievement
A positive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning
Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
