Position: KS2 TeacherContract Type: Full-time, long-term temporaryStart Date: 8 September 2026Location: Enfield, London, UKSalary: £37,870-£56,154 per annumSalary is dependent on experience and the candidate's position on the relevant Outer London Main Pay Range.Availability from 8 September 2026Join a Successful Key Stage 2 TeamAn established Enfield primary school is seeking a capable and motivated KS2 Teacher to join its teaching team from September. The appointed KS2 Teacher will take responsibility for a class within Key Stage 2 and work closely with colleagues to provide consistent, ambitious teaching. The school is looking for someone who can explain concepts clearly, maintain positive behaviour and use assessment to move pupils forward. You will be supported by phase colleagues and classroom support staff, but should be confident taking full responsibility for planning, teaching and assessment.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering the KS2 national curriculum
- Planning clear and appropriately challenging lessons
- Developing pupils' reading, writing and mathematical fluency
- Assessing progress and responding to identified gaps
- Providing appropriate challenge for higher-attaining pupils
- Adapting teaching for pupils with SEN or EAL
- Establishing a respectful and focused classroom culture
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and families
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Recent experience teaching Key Stage 2
- Strong primary curriculum knowledge
- Effective behaviour-management skills
- Accurate assessment and record keeping
- A flexible and team-oriented approach
