Job Description
Experienced KS2 PPA teacher required for a long-term contract starting in September 2025

Hays Education is currently supporting a large primary school recruiting an experienced KS2 PPA teacher for the 2025/26 Academic year.
The school is welcoming applications from MPS 2 teachers and above.
The post is to start in September 2025 and will be for the full academic year.

Your new role
As a KS2 PPA teacher, you will teach across all the KS2 classes in the school, on a fixed timetable, in order to cover staff whilst they utilise their allocated PPA time, subject lead and management time. You will be responsible for delivering lessons in line with a scheme of work, while a lot of the planning is available, the role will also require a small amount of planning. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and ensuring children of all abilities are engaged and making progress.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have:
• QTS or equivalent qualification
• Experience of teaching KS2
• Excellent subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
• High expectations of behaviour and achievement
• A passion for teaching and learning
• A commitment to professional development and safeguarding
