Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for experienced and dedicated. You'll provide personalised 1:1 support in various subjects at KS2 Level. These in-person sessions in Stoke Newington offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
- Job type: in-person in the Stoke Newington area
- Hour(s): 2 hours per week
- Day(s) and Time(s): Wednesdays or Thursdays, 3:30pm - 5:30pm
- Subject and Level: KS2 Maths, History and Geography
- Start date: Immediate start
- Rate of pay: £32.50 p/h
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomesMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
- A Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
- Qualified Teacher Status is preferred
- Experience teaching in Primary Schools
- Experience planning lessons
- Knowledge of whole KS2 Curriculum
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The right to be self employed in the UK
