KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant
September 2025 to July 2026
£85 - £100 per day
'Good' primary school, Central Wolverhampton
Small group support across KS2 with a focus on SATs preparation

The Role:
This KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant role centres on providing targeted support to pupils in Upper Key Stage 2, particularly those preparing for SATs. You'll work with small groups to deliver booster sessions in reading, writing, and maths, help identify learning gaps, and reinforce key curriculum content. You'll also assist with classroom activities, behaviour management, and lesson preparation, gaining a strong foundation in teaching practice.

The Candidate:
This opportunity is ideal for a graduate who plans to begin teacher training in 2026. You'll need strong academic ability, especially in English and maths, and a calm, confident approach when working with children. Experience supporting young people, whether in schools or elsewhere, will be helpful. Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic about helping pupils succeed.

The School:
The school is a well-regarded primary in Central Wolverhampton, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. It has a supportive team, clear routines, and a strong focus on raising attainment. Staff development is a priority, and graduates are encouraged to take on responsibility and learn from experienced practitioners. It's an ideal setting for those considering a career in teaching.

Due to the number of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.
