Job Description

At Crealy, we're growing our Food & Beverage team and looking for a confident, hands on Kitchen Supervisor to take full ownership of one of our busy kitchens.

This is a key leadership role within our operation. You'll be responsible for ensuring standards are consistently high, compliance is fully met, and the kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely at all times.

You'll lead by example, supporting the team while taking accountability for the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Taking full accountability for kitchen operations, standards, and compliance
  • Completing and overseeing all daily food safety, hygiene, and compliance checks to a high standard
  • Carrying out and recording weekly fire safety checks in line with site procedures
  • Managing your time effectively to ensure all checks and tasks are completed
  • Leading and supporting stock takes, ensuring accuracy and organisation
  • Monitoring portion control and actively reducing wastage and unnecessary stock loss
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, cost control, and quality
  • Liaising directly with the Head of Department to elevate issues, share feedback, and highlight opportunities
  • Taking ownership of kitchen standards including cleanliness, labelling, storage, and organisation
  • Training and supporting new starters, ensuring they are confident and meeting standards
  • Supporting team development, including sitting in on 1:1 reviews and providing constructive feedback
  • Acting as the eyes and ears of the kitchen, spotting issues before they escape
What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who takes pride in running a tight, well organised kitchen and leads with confidence.

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment (supervisory or strong senior team member level)
  • Strong understanding of food safety, compliance, and kitchen operations
  • Confident managing tasks independently and taking ownership
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially around cleanliness, labelling, and portion control
  • Ability to train, support, and guide team members
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to feedback to senior management
  • A proactive mindset, you don't wait for issues, you prevent them
  • Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
The Details
  • Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • Hours: Seasonal role including weekends, school holidays, and Bank Holidays. Rota provided in advance
