The Kitchen Porter will support the delivery and continuous improvement of the overall guest dining and cleanliness experience across the holiday park's food and beverage operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with an interest in hospitality, kitchen operations, or catering who is looking to be part of a dynamic team. The role combines essential back of house hygiene delivery with operational support, working closely with the wider kitchen and front of house teams to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and smooth day to day food service operations.
Duties will Include- Support the delivery of engaging and high-quality guest experiences across the park's food and beverage outlets
- Work collaboratively with departments to ensure a seamless customer journey
- Contribute ideas to enhance guest satisfaction and kitchen efficiency
- Stay aware of guest feedback and industry trends to support continuous improvement
- Actively maintain immaculate hygiene standards in the kitchen and dishwashing areas
- Support the chef and front of house teams to consistently deliver excellent customer service
- Respond to kitchen related requirements and tasks in a timely, professional, and efficient manner
- Build positive relationships with team members across the food and beverage department
- Provide day to day administrative and operational support across the back of house area
- Support the wider team in maintaining accurate records, including stock rotation, cleaning logs, and temperature sheets
- Assist in managing kitchen maintenance workflows, ensuring clear communication regarding equipment faults or needs
- Monitor and support the completion of health & safety checks, reporting and escalating kitchen issues where required
- Support the processing and tracking of food and chemical deliveries in line with company systems
- Assist with the collection, storage, and monitoring of incoming kitchen supplies
- Ensure systems, cleaning schedules, and documentation are kept up to date and accurate
- Work closely with team members for daily kitchen operations and food service priorities
- Provide support across departments including the main kitchen, prep areas, and front of house when needed
- Act as a coordination point to help ensure the smooth running of park kitchen operations
- Collaborate with the management team to support promotion of seasonal food events and activities
- Assist in ensuring kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are ready to a high standard for service
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, leisure, or a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively under pressure during busy service periods
- A positive attitude with a passion for delivering great guest experiences through behind the scenes excellence
- Looking to progress their career into hospitality, professional cookery, or kitchen management
- Comfortable balancing physical, fast paced work with strict hygiene and organisational responsibilities

- Promote and maintain a safe working culture across the park at all times
- Ensure compliance with all company health and safety policies and procedures, including COSHH and Food Safety regulations
- Demonstrate and enforce safe working practices
- Ensure appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) where required
- Report and manage all accidents, incidents, hazards, and near misses promptly
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well organised working environment
