Upstairs at the Grill, a leading fine dining steakhouse in Chester, is looking for a hardworking Kitchen Porter to join its established kitchen brigade. Inspired by classic Manhattan steakhouses, we are known for premium steaks, fresh food, high-quality produce and a refined dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment efficiently
• Support the chefs to keep the kitchen running smoothly throughout service
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards
• Thrive in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure high operational standards

About You

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
• Strong work ethic with excellent attention to cleanliness and organisation
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy service environment
• Reliable, hardworking and keen to learn new skills
